What a beautiful day today. Lots of people out and about enjoying the sunshine and warmer temps. Took a few moments of it to head to the park and get my 2009 parking sticker. Still only $5 for the whole year (beats paying a dollar every time you go) and it's good at all of the Hamilton County parks. You can even order it online if you dont have time to go pick one up right now...

We are lucky to have all the great parks we have all around the area and on both sides of the river. Places with all kinds of things to do. Ball fields, disk golf, walking/exercise tracks and trails, playgrounds, picnic areas and a whole lotta green spaces. Sure, we still have some time before it will really be spring and there may not be a whole lot of days like this in the near future but it is days like this that make us all think about a little funshine in the sunshine. About kicking back under a blue sky, maybe a couple clouds just to have something to watch drift bye. A light breeze, maybe a picnic lunch or something to read. The sounds of those playing in the background.... Yeah, those days will be here soon enough, and a day like today after those last few weeks of cold and snow just might make many of us anticipate them more. Here's to sunny days in the park, and everywhere else! And a whole lot more days like this, maybe a touch warmer though
